Bring me to Him

Tell me about Him

I’m desperately in need of knowing Him

I was told that He’s everywhere

That He knows my beginning and my end.

I’m sure He sees the shackles around me.

My hands are tied.

My spirit wanders, searching for the truth.

Where is He.

The Lord of Elijah.

My soul is down.

Your word divides rightly between

It’s double edged.

I have a table

It’s not with me

It’s in the presence of my enemies.

I did not put it there.

The Lord did.

He will take me to it.

The Lord will.

The devil may try to keep me away from my table.

But once the Lord stretches His arm to give me, who can push it back.

Don’t be deceived, the Lord is never mocked

As it rises it sets again.

Thank God it sets.

Though we have a lot of unfinished business.

We finally settle to rest.

The minds have a lot to think about.

The hearts wander and wonder.

Will business ever be done?

Will the minds be free.

The sun goes up.

It frightens many.

Morning is supposed to bring happiness.

Though tears come a long.

How do we find the light.

We work but can’t sustain our own lives.

Desperate to find what to do that can be leaned on.

What can a man do to see tomorrow.

Our wants remain wanting.

Our desires the same.

Sometimes I wish the sun remains silent.

In a country where there are no jobs to do.

We need not to be reminded of the time to find something to do.

Lord, this is too much.

Waking up daily to grieve and be scared of the day.

We need immunisation from hunger.

Give the food Elijah ate and walked for forty days without hunger.

Let the sun set.

I want to cry alone.

I miss my pillow, soaked with emotion from my eyes.

Sleep takes us to another world.

So desirable.

Though not real but a little ease.

The sun will rise, it will rise again.

A man died.

A rich man has died.

He had just made the achievement of his life.

The harvest filled his heart.

Inside him wealth is all it took.

Like Pharaoh in his days never feared God.

Like Solomon in his days had everything in his obedience

He applied his wisdom to make wealth.

Didn’t a king eat grass.

Didn’t he, for seven years wander the wild.

What on earth pushed him off the throne.

Didn’t he have guards, satraps, administrators, governors, counselors, treasurers, judges, magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces?

Oh,

Look at her.

At Jacob’s well.

She has one, two, three, four and five.

All these are her husbands, but she can’t mention even one when she’s asked if she’s married.

The water from the well can’t quench thirst.

What can satisfy a man?

What really can bring peace that is peaceful?

What really brings joy that is joyful?

What brings real happiness?

Do men ever settle?

Do people ever want nothing?

Only the living water quenches the thirst.

Only the food that came from above makes man satisfied.

Yes, me I lost my way.

I no longer know how life tastes.

I don’t remember how good appears.

The world has played on me.

The people I called friends laughed at me when I lost everything.

I’ve lost my way because you have left me far away, far behind.

The promise was that the one who gets better would give a hand to the one still struggling.

It was all a lie.

I’ve been used.

I’ve been dumped.

That’s why am wandering aimlessly.

Like a drunkard’s chicken, not sure of tomorrow.

Trusting I trusted you but instead reaped a curse.

My tears boil within my eyes like the hot springs of Kabaale , My heart enraged and my face folded, it’s the time I cry for.

All that time yet I created an enemy to wage.

Enlighten my path.

Why me? Friends.

I can’t find the way of life.

It dark here.

People that we stay with are bad.

They are blood suckers.

Vampires.

They don’t want me to succeed.

They will tell all the bad things I did to them, but I used to be a darling.

They won’t tell you how I helped them.

They won’t tell you how I gave up everything for them to be able to have food on the table.

Someone hold my hand.

Take me by the hand, show me the way.

When I opened my eyes in the morning

All the first-borns were dead. Just as Moses said.

I was in fear.

I wanted to let them go.

But that could damage my reputation.

How would they hear.

That they just demanded and I allowed them go.

I have always thought my magicians are unstoppable, but with my eyes I saw their might come to nothing, one Aaron’s rod turned into a snake and swallowed all their snakes.

With my own eyes I saw something that I had never heard before,. Water became blood then frogs came out of it to fill the whole land. I knew it was the finger of the Lord.

One pestilence followed the other .

One plague followed the other,

I left them to finally go, I felt my honor diminish in the whole of Egypt.

I had to restore it back.

I trailed them and my eyes saw something, the river divided, people walked on dry land in the middle of the river, but my soldiers and I could not go through.

The Hand of the Almighty fought me
