On June 29, 2020 I felt prompted to put a short poem on Facebook about the Launch.

I wondered how far that was away, gravitating to statistics as I do. I was caught by surprise that it was exactly 40 days. Hmmm.

That seed grew fast – a poem a day I heard, like a countdown, I would have been disobedient to have turned that ‘offer’ down.

We added Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. Occasionally an extra burst of direction like today August 3rd., so I could complete this document for the website Launch on August 8^th, or so I thought, as you will see.

The website is coming together as I type, in Dan Van Leeuwen’s amazing Lion Websites in Sydney Australia.

PATHFINDER SEED

God has been stirring in my heart for several years to dig into His Word and write. The Genesis 15 Covenant rocked me inside. Poetry became my way to explore and learn from The Lord. On May 22, 2020 I got a ‘DO IT’ instruction, so clear that everything I had explored and written in the past 7 years supported an immediate yes. It was confirmed on May 31, 2020 along with clarity on the name Red Thread Poets.

Genesis one one, the first Word from the Hebrew aleph-bet:

בְּרֵאשִׁ֖ית … bĕrēʾšît – pronounced … bere-sheet

‘in the beginning’ … says it all within that six-letter word. Looking at the meaning from deep within the Hebrew, ‘we get something along the lines of’ (see the white image on the left)… imagine … in the first six-letter Hebrew word in the Bible!

THE FATHER

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. The Lord just made it clear that August 8 is the Launch of a series of posts on Zion – that I have to do, Acts 8:8: “And there was great joy in that city” … So that is what the countdown is – I wasn’t to know that till today.WOW WOW WOW Not the launch of the website. AUG 6 – DAY 2

UPDATE August 6, 2020 – I (peterwill) underestimated the amount of input required to enable the website to be built – it is under-way but will be awhile. However the Launch has evolved into a Launch of Zion. The 40 Day ‘Countdown’ that ends on Friday August 7th, has set the stage for launching Zion on August 8 – which will clearly explain the Goal of Our Founder – which I am only now catching up to. The Launch Verse from Acts Chapter 8 verse 8 NOW makes so much more sense. It’s for the City of ZION:

Following the Launch of Zion – the question remained – when will the website be ready to launch?

Looking back, it is clear that August 8^th only in my mind was a reasonable website Launch date.

We know now that the public launch was on October 10, 2020.

As I leant in, in early August, it became clear that a series on Zion itself was what The Lord was after. Zion, the Holy City on earth, not made with hands, has had a massive impact on me.

Again, looking back it is very instructive to see the dates of key events, as this unfolded and I woke up:

ZION via Zoom: The first bible study on the subject of Zion, that is the City of Zion, was on Saturday, May 16, 2020. Zion is God’s Heavenly City and City on Earth (to come) The study is led by Todd Edwards, See below for a link to the series Encountering Zion. Incidentally it has nothing to do with the zionism political movement.
Prophetic input in May 2020 was instrumental in establishing Red Thread Poets and very specific timing and content. Within weeks graphic and website designers were engaged, and I was led to select August 8, 2020 as a website launch date, albeit optimistic. The timing was influenced by input that The Lord wanted it launched by the end of July 2020, quite a tall order that we had no explanation for. Early on in June a verse in Acts chapter 8 verse 8 was selected as a launch verse. The verse was short and contained joy which was great confirmation at the time: “And there was great joy in the city”
On June 29, 2020, I felt prompted to put a short poem on Facebook about the Launch. I wondered how far that was away, gravitating to statistics as I do. I was caught by surprise that it was exactly 40 days. Hmmm. That seed grew fast – a poem a day I heard, like a countdown, I would have been disobedient to have turned that ‘offer’ down. This further confirmed the launch date.
Our web developer cautioned me from the beginning about even having a launch date. But with all this divine ‘evidence’, my optimism, plus my total ignorance about website building, as well as my ignorance about delivering well thought out requirements influenced my actions. So, I kept going with the daily countdown post on four social platforms. It was ‘getting-on’ in July when I delivered my last inputs to our developer, and I was still very unruffled.
With a few days to go before August 8^th I got ‘the message’, the website was not going live on August 8^th it was going to be weeks away. I felt trapped with my own petard. (yes, messing with Shakespeare’s Hamlet – but I was about to blow up inside)
Then; The Lord pointed out the Acts 8:8 verse “And there was great joy in the city” Joy in the city … I had been studying Zion now for almost 2 months and had not made this precise ‘city’ connection to this verse. Hard to perceive looking back. It then dawned on me and quickly became crystal clear that ZION was the subject of the August 8^th Launch, NOT the website. I thought of the Israelites being led to the dead end at the Red Sea, for a reason.
So, The Lord, clearly not a bit non plussed, switched it up, and bailed me out of my own head. I had been building up a love for Zion, the city on earth (and much, much more, as you will discover), and I wanted to tell everyone – and I discovered over time, that that love was put in me … and so I set out doing a ‘Count Up’ in faith with no date in mind for the website launch – my web developer was pleased.

Read Habakkuk’s complaints to God in chapter 1 verse 1 to 4. God answer and solution in verses 5 to 7 unleashing the meanest things into the infrastructure, using evil people to destroy the social and economic structure of the nation. He expects us to control our laws and courts – it’s not His job. When we allow citizens and government to run amok, He say’s it’s time to invade the structure.

HOLY IN THE UNHOLY – RESULT NO KIDS

Zion, the Bride of Christ, found herself in a soiled temple and city UNABLE TO BIRTH / BRING FORTH God’s plan for redemption of the earth through God’s children (‘Zion’s kids’).

The Lord loves the gates of Zion [through which the crowds of pilgrims enter from all nations] more than all the dwellings of Jacob (Israel). Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God. Selah Psalm 87:2-3 AMPC

When the Lord brought back the captives [who returned] to Zion, we were like those who dream [it seemed so unreal]. Psalm 126:1 AMPC

And the remnant that has survived of the house of Judah shall again take root downward and bear fruit upward. For out of Jerusalem will go forth a remnant, and a band that survives out of Mount Zion. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. Isaiah 37:31-32 AMPC

Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders. Isaiah 49:22 KJVS

JUDAH MARRIED, NOT SAVED

Our Triune God does not divorce Judah (including Benjamin), the southern two tribes, where the disgraced city of Jerusalem is located. This is despite their wickedness, the result of this is that are not saved.

HOWEVER. SOME ENCOURAGEMENT:

But He chose the tribe of Judah [as Israel’s leader], Mount Zion, which He loved [to replace Shiloh as His capital]. Psalm 78:68 AMPC

Zion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced [in relief] because of Your judgments, O Lord. Psalm 97:8 AMPC

ISRAEL DIVORCED BUT SAVED

At the foot of Mt Sinai, when Moses came down from 40 days with God and found Aaron and the golden calf, God divorced Israel. Israel in many places in the Bible refers to the northern 10 tribes and also to the Gentiles. The Marriage supper of The Lamb will put the divorce away for good.

JESUS QUOTES ISAIAH 61 – SPEAKING OF ZION

In Nazareth, Jesus reads from Isaiah Word for Word, but omits the rest of verse 2: “and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn”. The people were not ready to hear that, nor verses 3 and 4 of Isaiah 61 – here they are:

[3] To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. [4] And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

WHAT HAPPENS TO PHYSICAL JERUSALEM

JERUSALEM IS THE ‘DAUGHTER OF ZION’, The wicked city – note not to be confused with the ‘daughters of Zion’ which are the cities outside of Jerusalem.

THE NEW JERUSALEM is not the physical Jerusalem but Zion the city ‘not made with hands’.

At some point the remnant and redeemed from the ‘daughter’ and ‘daughters’ of Zion, along with the nations of the world, will enter Zion, and finally the New Jerusalem will come down from the Third Heaven. Also:

[2] It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be [firmly] established as the highest of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow to it. [3] And many people shall come and say, Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us His ways and that we may walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law and instruction, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Isaiah 2:2-3 AMPC

PREPARE CITY FOR HABITATION

It is our job to bring good tidings of good and to publish salvation, to be the means used by the Holy Spirit to let the lost, wicked and unrighteous know that “your God reigns”.

He turns a wilderness into a pool of water and a dry ground into water springs; And there He makes the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation, Psalm 107:35-36 AMPC

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings good tidings of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns! Isaiah 52:7 AMPC

[2] To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, [3] To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion-to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit-that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. [4] And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former desolations and renew the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations. Isaiah 61:2-4 AMPC

REBUILD WASTE CITIES

The waste cities are the ‘daughters of Zion’ the cities outside Jerusalem that would have been Zion cities if God’s plan had not been stalled when the Holy Ark of The Covenant was moved to what turned out to be the unholy temple Solomon built in the unholy Jerusalem.

Lift up your eyes round about and see [the returning exiles, ready to rebuild Jerusalem]; all these gather together and come to you. As I live, says the Lord, you [Zion] shall surely clothe yourself with them all as with an ornament and bind them on you as a bride does. [19] For your waste and desolate places and your land [once the scene] of destruction surely now [in coming years] will be too narrow to accommodate the population, and those who once swallowed you up will be far away. Isaiah 49:18-19 AMPC

For the Lord will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places. And He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the voice of song or instrument of praise. Isaiah 51:3 AMPC

For God will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah; and [His servants] shall remain and dwell there and have it in their possession; Psalm 69:35

I HAVE SET MY KING / GOD DWELLS IN THE MIDST

Yeshuah Ha Mashiach, our Redeemer, The Precious Chief Cornerstone, The Son of God, The Groom will dwell in our midst with us, with Zion and with the land; who collectively are The Bride of Christ.

Yet have I anointed (installed and placed) My King [firmly] on My holy hill of Zion. [7] I will declare the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, You are My Son; this day [I declare] I have begotten You. [8] Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations as Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession. Psalm 2:6-8 AMPC

The formal public launch of the website on Saturday October 10, 2020, is now behind us. Let us celebrate the launch verse Hebrews 10;10:

The thread of the blood of Our Lord flows throughout the Bible, and was the inspiration for our name.

We close off the Zion Series looking at the question “What Is Our Job?”

The fundamental question is ‘do we essentially sit and wait for the Lord to return, or does He have a job He wants us to do now’?

Which ever choice you made, ask the Lord: will You keep postponing Your return, along with bringing down the City of Zion from Heaven to earth as recorded in Revelation 21:2, until we, here on earth, do the job You Lord desire us to do?

“What is Our Job?” looks at what that job could look like.

While we may have Salvation Rest (Hebrews 4:1-4) throughout the week and rest in that, Our Triune does want us to fellowship with Him in ‘total being’ once a week. Is that is our seventh day, or another day, or a small part of a day? Where we deepen our relationship and show our dedication to that.
