TEVET – Month with Hanukkah
This is the fourth month of the civil year and the tenth month of the religious calendar year.
Tevet is unique in that it begins with the Festival of Dedication called Hanukkah. Tevet is also a month when we begin to walk out our promotion, just like month of Adar and Elul.
Esther 2:16 (NASB): “So Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus in his royal palace in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth [Tevet], in the seventh year of his reign.”
Tribe of Israel (Conventional): Dan
Gemstone in Aaron’s breastplate: Lapis Lazuli
Constellation in Sky/Hebrew name: Capricornus/Gedi
Note from Peterwill:
To give you a flavour of Candice’s amazing book “365 Prophetic Revelations From The Hebrew Calendar” I selected one day from each Hebrew month – the seventh day. The number seven symbolizes completion and perfection, especially associated with God’s creation and rest on the seventh day.
TEVET 7
When troubles come, we are more than victorious in Christ. If you find that facing the continual blockades and obstacles is wearing you down, you are not alone.
This happens to be a purposeful enemy tactic to wear down the disciples of the Lord. The very tactics of the enemy are revealed in Daniel 7:25 (KJV), “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”
