THANKSGIVING, PRAISE AND WORSHIP PRAYER

Praise Almighty God every day, and wait on Him. Use I, myself and me in place of we, ourselves and us, unless you are including those you love such as your spouse and children, or unless you view your whole being ie human spirit, soul, heart and body as we, ourselves and us,

Thanksgiving

“Father, we come before You in reverence and prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, in the presence of Your Holy Spirit. We enter into Your gates with thanksgiving and we enter into Your courts with praise1, and we bless Your Holy Name.

We praise You because You are worthy, holy, righteous, and just. We plead the blood of Jesus over ourselves, our dwelling places, our spouses, our children, our vehicles, our technological devices, our bank accounts, every bit of provision presently coming to us and everything under our stewardship2.

We pray that Your heavenly hosts, Your angels, would guard these dwelling places round about, above and below, and against every dimensional access point in Jesus’ name3.

We will say of the Lord that You are our refuge and our fortress, our God, in You will we trust4.

We thank You that You set a hedge of protection round about us and that no plague will come near our dwellings5.

Lord God, it is with enormous gratitude that we come to You to give You thanks always for everything6 for this is Your will in Christ Jesus concerning us. And to also offer the sacrifice of praise to You our God continually7, by Jesus Christ which is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.

Lord Jesus, you are our shield, our buckler, and our rearguard. We take opportunity to assume the armour of God: the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, We put on the shoes of the preparation of the gospel of peace, We take up the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. We will not be afraid of the terror by night, neither of the arrow that flies by day, neither of the pestilence that walks in darkness, neither of the destruction that lays waste at noonday7a.

We declare that the spirit of excellence rests upon us, and that those over us will seek to set us over entire realms. We declare that our realms are engaged in our assignments. We call them charged with the names of God; Jehovah-Jireh (God who Provides), Jehovah-Rapha (God who Heals), Jehovah-Shammah (The Lord is There), Jehovah-Nissi (The Lord is my Banner in Victory), Jehovah-Tsidkenu (The Lord our Righteousness), Jehovah-Makeddesh (The Lord who Sanctifies / makes Holy), Jehovah-Ra’ah (The Lord my Shepherd) , Jehovah-Shalom (The God of our Peace), Jehovah-Gibbowr (Mighty God), Jehovah-Elohim (Father God / God the Creator / Lord of Lords), Jehovah-Sabbaoth (The Lord of Hosts), Jehovah-Issuwz (God who is strong), Jehovah-Hoseenu (My Lord and Maker), Jehovah-Quana (The Jealous God), Jehovah- Chayil (The God of Strength), Jehovah-Milchamah (The God Mighty in Battle), El-Shaddai (Almighty God / All Sufficient One), El-Elyon (Most High God), El-Olam (The Eternal God / The Everlasting God), El-Roy (The God Who Sees me), Yeshuah Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ). We cause our realms and lives to come into interface with the seven Spirits of God; the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of Wisdom, the Spirit of Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel, the Spirit of Might, the Spirit of Knowledge, and the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord. We declare that we behold with open faces the glory of the Lord and are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. We seal these declarations across every realm, age, timeline, and dimension, past, present, and future, to infinity. We call this day blessed, fruitful, and prosperous in the mighty name of Jesus Christ7b.

We thank You Lord God that You know the things of man by the Spirit of God which we have received, so that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God, which the Holy Spirit teaches combining and interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language. We thank You Lord, that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit which is in us, which we have from God, and we are not our own. We give thanks Lord God, always, for our brothers and sisters, who are beloved of the Lord in Christ, and for ourselves because You have from the beginning chosen us all for salvation through sanctification by the Holy Spirit and our belief in the truth8.

Awesome God

Lord God Almighty, Lord Triune God, Holy is Your name. We thank You that You bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. From the beginning, Lord Triune God You provided for us. In Your love for us You unilaterally established the Covenant between Yourself for us, Your people, that we Your seed, including all generations, would have an everlasting covenant, and that You would be a God unto us, and to our seed after us. You gave us a land for an everlasting possession. We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come; because You have established Your great power, and You reign supreme9.

Lord God You made us in Your image, after Your likeness, male and female You created us: and gave us dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. Lord God You blessed us and said unto us be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. And You saw that everything that You had made was very good. Therefore we praise You that we are fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are Your works, we know that well, deep in our hearts10.

Almighty God You are great in Zion, You are high above all Your people. We praise You. You have a great and terrible name for it is Holy. Your strength is that You love judgment and You establish equity, You execute judgment and righteousness, we worship at Your footstool because You are Holy and Worthy. We thank You Lord God that You are our inheritance and our possession11.

Enemy

We thank You Lord God that You have delivered us from the strong enemy, and from them who hated us: for they were too strong for us. We thank You that You will deliver into our hands Your enemy, the destroyer of Your country, and deliver the souls of the poor from the hand of evildoers. We rejoice in knowing that You saw Satan fall as lightening from Heaven, and that You have given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and that nothing shall by any means hurt us, as we are safe in You. We praise You Father that Jesus sits on Your right hand making Your enemies His footstool12.

Sin and salvation

We acknowledge Lord that You will reprove the world of sin and that unless we repent we shall perish. We thank You Lord God that You have said if we repent You will cleanse us from all iniquity where we have sinned against You and You will pardon us from our iniquities where we have sinned and transgressed against You13.

We thank You Lord God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, and always causes us to triumph in Christ14.

Worthy to be Praised

We offer ourselves now and continually as a sacrifice of praise to You Lord God, that it be the sincere fruit of our lips as we give thanks to Your name. You Lord God are worthy to be praised for all things that You have done for us. Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory15.

Attributes of God

Holy Lord God we acknowledge and praise You that in all things You shall be glorified through Jesus Christ to whom be praise and dominion for ever. We bless the mountains of Your holiness and righteousness, Your justice and righteous judgements, Your love, Your grace and mercy, Your wisdom and understanding, Your counsel and knowledge, Your power, strength and might, Your omniscience, omnipresence and Your omnipotence. We glorify You in that You are infinite and eternal, who was and is and is to come, and that You are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End and the Aleph Tav16.

We thank You that You are good and that Your mercy is everlasting and Your truth endures to all generations. You are the health of our countenance, and You are renowned for Your wonderful works to the children of men17.

We exalt You Lord God for the wonderful things You do, and that Your counsels are faithfulness and truth. We thank You for the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father sends in Jesus’ name, and that He will teach us all things, and bring all things to our remembrance18.  Lord God Almighty we praise Your Name for Your great mercies, praises and the multitude of Your lovingkindness for You have magnified Your Word above Your Name19.

Fear of The Lord

Lord God Almighty You are the true God, and You are great, and greatly to be praised. You are to be feared above all gods. You are worthy of our sacrifice and to be worshipped. It is wise for us to fear You God and give You glory, for the hour of Your judgement is come, and You are worthy of our worship. Only You are Holy, and we as sinners so far from You, yet You love us, and all nations will worship before You for Your judgements are made manifest20.

Warnings

Lord, we know and respect that You are a jealous God, whose name is Jealous, and You have said repeatedly that ‘you shall have no other gods but Me’. We acknowledge that that includes ourselves. We therefore ask for Your wisdom and knowledge to be a help to us in putting You first in our lives and being surrendered to You and dying to ourselves, lest our hearts are deceived and we walk after and worship and serve other gods or any strange god, and as a consequence cause You to see that we will perish21.

Worship Guidelines

Lord Father Almighty God, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ to worship You in spirit and truth, for You have said that You seek such to worship You. We give to You all the glory due to Your name, and we come before You, offering ourselves as a sacrifice to You to worship You in the beauty of holiness. Lord God we worship You who was and is and is to come, who lives for ever, we fall down before Your face and before Your throne for You are Worthy O Lord to receive glory and honour and power, for You have created all things, the heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters, and for Your pleasure they exist and were created by You22.

Notes on the Prayer

1 “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” (Psalm 100:4). Never stop giving thanks and praising God. I open every prayer with praise and thanksgiving. This will always lead to more powerful and effective prayers.

2 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation 12:10) The enemy hates the blood of Jesus because he is overcome by it. The power of His blood is an inarguable weapon in the believer’s arsenal. The life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11) and so every time the blood of Jesus is applied it is an application of the very life of Jesus Christ. It is an application of the power to cleanse sin (Colossians 1:14) and bring healing (1 Peter 2:24). It is one of three that bear witness to the resurrection and victory of Jesus Christ “in the earth” along with the water and the Spirit (1 John 5:8). When the angel of death, otherwise called the destroyer, was sent out in the book of Exodus, he passed over every household displaying the blood of a lamb on its door post (Exodus 12:23). This was a type and shadow of what the blood of Jesus would one day accomplish. Even death must respect the blood. Why wouldn’t we plead it over everything? Frankly, to do otherwise as believers is a waste of God’s resources.

3 “And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” (2 Kings 6:17). God set His heavenly army in battle array round about the prophet Elisha. Centuries later, Jesus went on to say that John the Baptist was the greatest of the Old Testament prophets, and that the least in the Kingdom was greater than him (Luke 7:28). What kind of angelic host do you think God will set about his spiritual children? He will send armies to war on our behalf! Moreover, angels are ministering spirits sent forth to minister to the heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). Part of this ministry is protection. Psalm 91:11-12 declares that His angels will keep us in our ways and bear us up in their hands lest we should dash our foot upon a stone. This is why I set an angelic guard around my location (whether it is my house, a hotel room, or wherever I happen to be sleeping). Notice that I set them round about, both above and below. I have learned that above and below deals with dimensional access points, and that if I say the prayer in this way, I am employing protection against attacks entering from other dimensions.

4 “ I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” (Psalm 91:2). The fortress of God, who wouldn’t want to sleep there?

5 “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.” (Psalm 91:10). This is self explanatory.

6 “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJVS. “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;” Ephesians 5:20 KJVS

7 “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.” Hebrews 13:15 KJVS

8 “[11] For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. [12] Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. [13] Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” (1 Cor 2:11-13). “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? “ (1 Cor 6:19). “But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:” 2 Thessalonians 2:13 KJVS

9 [7] “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. [8] And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. [9] And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.” (Genesis 17:7-9 KJVS). For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (1 John 5:7).

“Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.” (Revelation 11:17 KJVS).

10 Genesis 1:26-31 KJVS: “[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. [27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. [28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. [29] And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. [30] And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. [31] And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” Psalm 139:14 KJVS: “[14] I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Deuteronomy 10:20-21 KJVS: “[20] Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name. [21] He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.”

11 “[2] The Lord is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people. [3] Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy. [4] The king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob. [5] Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.” Psalm 99:2-5 KJVS. And it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am their inheritance: and ye shall give them no possession in Israel: I am their possession.” Ezekiel 44:28.

12 “He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me. (Psalm 18:17 KJVS). Judges 16:24 KJVS: “[24] And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, Our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, which slew many of us.” Jeremiah 20:13 KJVS: “[13] Sing unto the Lord, praise ye the Lord : for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers. “Luke 10:18-20 KJVS: “[18] And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. [19] Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. [20] Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” “For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.” (Mark 12:36 KJVS).

13 “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: (John 16:8 KJVS). “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish: (Luke 13:3 KJVS). [8] “And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me. [9] And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.” Jeremiah 33:8-9 KJVS)

14 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57 KJVS) “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” (2 Corinthians 2:14 KJVS)

16 “If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” (1 Peter 4:11 KJVS). “Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever.
