We all walk a different path through-out our lifetime, sometimes traveling down shattered roads to places that no one really knows for sure where it will take us. Confused by all that has taken place within our yesterdays and now worry more about what will take place when our tomorrow’s start to arrive. Deep down inside we are all right with our feelings while at the same time we all can be wrong as well. Like a frightened child, we are scared as hell because of the uncertainty while at the exact same time we so desperately try pulling up our big people’s pants trying to act somewhat brave, sadly a bravery that fools no one but ourselves. Just know that you’ll find peace within your journey, when you see that old broken down wooden roadside sign that says, Jesus Saves.
At times life seems to be a constant struggle while holding on the very best that we can. Then there are those times we find ourselves sitting in silence staring out into a crazy world of self-madness, sometimes doing so intensely while never taking notice that a new day has finally arrived. While at other times it can seem so flat out painful, uncertain and dam right confusing while we struggle to make it throughout our days. But never give up because wherever your walk may lead you, one thing is for certain, Jesus Saves.
We all shed a tear or two from time to time and yes, our blood bleeds the same old color red and no matter who or what we may think we are you need to understand this, while our paths may seem to be so totally different, you my friend would be shocked at how those paths are so very much the same. Face it, we all need love, a simple pat on the back, a good friend, a smile and someone who will tell us that all will be OK. Just know this, all those things are right in front of you because in our darkest moments, just be thankful that one thing is always for certain, Jesus Saves.
Maybe we just need to take a different path, a new walk so to speak or possibly travel down a different road altogether. Take note, it is time to forget about all your yesterdays and look forward to what will take place in the days ahead. There’s nothing wrong with being scared, nothing wrong with shedding a tear or two and nothing wrong with not being as brave as you hoped you could be. Because wherever your journey may lead you or how painful your days may be, again know, Jesus Saves.
From the child to the parent, to the beggar to those who seem to have it all and from the non-believer to the preacher man, we may not want to admit it, but where all pretty much the same. From the innocence when that newborn child arrives, or until that moment when our journey comes to an end. We all may have taken different roads that bring us to where we are at today, but when all is said and done just know, it was a journey from the cradle to the grave. For what seemed so important to us in all our yesterdays, now means absolutely nothing today because our journey has hopefully given us wisdom and understanding after everything that has taken place, what we now know and understand is that we are all in a good place and we all should be grateful, why? because Jesus Saves.
