CATALINA’S MILKY WAY DREAMS

Shooting Stars and fast moving Cars

Rumble through the roads of my mind

Tick-e-ty Tock, the old sounds of the clock

Say’s it’s almost a quarter past nine

The moons surely rising, the stars are a gliding

And Mr. Sandman is ready to roam

Hurry off to bed and put your pillow under your head

He might just be visiting you tonight at home

Drifting off to sleep is such a wonderful feat

Adventures you’ll enjoy on your own

Making new friends on a journey to no end

A secrete life that is yours all alone

Don’t be afraid of those gobble lee goo’s

Or those pirates drifting to sea on their boats

There’s no need to worry there just in your dreams

Like rainbow clouds and cotton candy floats

Oh that sky’s full of colors of make believe wonders

Exciting every step of the way

Can’t you let me stay for just a little bit longer

Please, don’t take my Dreams a way

To see this through a child’s eyes

On the path to where stars brightly beam

Through a different world of twist and twirls

Won’t you come to my Milky Way Dreams

We could have so much fun

Under an ice cream sun and laugh our time away

Sing some M & M songs the whole day long

Until we awake to brand new day

Pluto say’s hey kiddo don’t get out of bed

As Snakel Puss laughs and says, ah it’s OKKKKKKKK

Popeye yell’s, were gone in a minute after I eat me spinach

Poo say’s all aboard my Banana Split Sleigh

Oh that Sky’s full of colors of make believe wonders

Exciting every step of the way

Can’t you let me stay for just a little bit longer

Worry not Catalina, we won’t take your Dreams a way

To see this through a child’s eyes

On the path to where stars brightly beam

Through a different world of twist and twirls

Won’t you come to my Milky Way Dreams

Catalina say’s, please come join me, on my Milky Way Dreams

The Depressed Poet comes from many years of suffering from Depression. While in the hospital for this a doctor suggested that I try my hand at poetry and that is where life changed for me. I wrote about things I never really thought of before like God, Jesus, Heaven and so on. I do not consider myself a great or good writer because, I am not. What I am is a man, who stumbles through his words, so he can make it through his days. I also host a podcast called, The Coffee and Prayer Series.
