How did one of the thieves that was crucified with Jesus made it into heaven?

For God so Loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world ; but that the world through him might be saved.

Baptism is important: even Jesus was baptised and also baptise people for them to be saved.
Communion is important: We know the story of Jesus and his diciples on the table at the last supper.
Prayer and fasting is important: Jesus fasted and prayed forty days and forty nights. Matthew 6:5-18 and Matthew 9:14-17, Jesus taught us prayer and fasting.
For it will be in vain that we do all these things but don’t Believe in Him.
Only by Believing in Him shall we be Saved.
